Ordering

Order by website - visit cottontraders.co.uk.

Order by telephone - call 0844 844 1111.

Order by post - send completed order form with payment to Cotton Traders Ltd, 1-2 Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire WA14 5FA.

Order by fax - send completed order form with payment details to 0844 844 0010.

To maintain our quality standards, we may monitor and record calls to enable us to ensure the highest level of service to our customers.

The right to refuse or restrict any order is reserved.

First Order

Your first order (online, phone, fax or post) must be delivered to the address your card is registered to. This is to protect you from the increased threat from Internet and Credit Card fraud.

Payments

By credit & debit cards:

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Your card will be charged for the full value of your order on authorisation.

By cheque and postal order:

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Cotton Traders Ltd and posted to 1-2 Atlantic Street, Broadheath, Altrincham, Cheshire WA14 5FA along with your completed order form.

By Cotton Traders Gift Voucher:

Cotton Traders gift vouchers can be used against mail or telephone orders. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed through our retail shops or on our website. If ordering by phone please quote the voucher number to your operator. If ordering by post, please cut off the voucher and enclose with your order. Cotton Traders gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. There is no time limit on gift vouchers but they may only be redeemed against a single order.

Delivery

Our aim is to deliver your order within 4 working days from despatch. Most orders are delivered within 3 days, but please allow 7-10 working days before chasing your goods and up to 28 days for all orders.

If you ordered online you can log in to your 'My Account' section and and use online order history to monitor the progress of your delivery.

We deliver throughout the UK using our courier network of over 1800 local delivery agents. This makes your deliveries more secure and gives the added flexibility of evening and weekend deliveries in many areas. We have to allow 7 working days for delivery before we can raise an enquiry with our couriers.

Cotton Traders Ltd also deliver to Channel Islands and BFPO. For delivery to these areas please allow the full 28 days.

We know you expect fast delivery and are constantly working to improve our targets.

Delivery Charges

Cotton Traders charge a standard £3.99* for all orders, whether it be a T-shirt, a winter jacket or multiple items.

If we send your order in separate parcels you will still only pay one delivery charge.

* If you have an advert or promotion with a different postage charge please be sure to enter your Promotional Code and the postage charge will be adapted as advertised.

Cotton Traders Insurance

For just 38p, in the unlikely event that your order does go missing in transit we'll arrange an investigation with our courier network and despatch an immediate replacement, subject to availability. If stock is no longer available we will offer an immediate refund. Please delete from order form if not required.

Preview Orders

Twice a year we have a Preview range to find out what products you want to see in next season's catalogue.

We offer 20% discount to a selection of existing customers on advanced orders from the Preview catalogue. You'll receive your items only when the new season catalogue is released but you won't be charged a penny until your order is released for despatch.

Prices

The prices quoted are those ruling at the time of production. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations due to the rate of value added tax. The correct price will be shown on your delivery note.

Prices shown on our website only apply to mail order and may not be available in store.

SHOPS protection only covers the direct ordering of products at the price specified in our catalogues.


Promotions

Please note that some free gifts and promotions have a minimum spend to qualify. All our gifts are chosen for specific promotions and can't be exchanged. You can only use ONE Promotional Code per order. We reserve the right to exchange the gift featured for an alternative.

All promotions have an expiry date. Please check this before placing your order. To qualify for the correct promotion please quote the 4 digit Promotional Code which can be found on promotional material or order form.

Promotional discounts will be applied to all items; any items returned will be refunded minus discount.

Availability

All stock (including free gifts) is subject to availability. We will advise of current due in date at time of ordering if order is placed by web or telephone. If this date changes & is estimated to be due 14 days or later, we will inform you in writing. Any orders placed via mail order will receive written confirmation of expected due in date.

For the purpose of current UK distance selling legislation all promotions associated with orders from Cotton Traders Ltd (including free gifts, prices, discounts, multi-buy savings and any other similar offers) will cease to be valid when stock is no longer available, unless otherwise stated.

Colour Reproduction

Every care has been taken to ensure that the product descriptions and specifications are correct. The limitations of colour reproduction may mean a slight variation from the actual products can occur.

Sizing

All our men's and unisex clothing is generously cut - probably more generously than you would expect.

Rugger Shirts : traditional fit, simply order as your chest size
Piques, Sweatshirts & Rollneck Tops : generously cut for comfort and style. For a closer fit, buy a size smaller.
Shirts : easy fitting style, simply select your collar size.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their contract (order) within 7 days of receipt of goods & return for a refund.

Return costs of cancelled order is customers responsibility.

Any applicable delivery charges will also be refunded provided the entire order is returned including any promotional gifts that formed part of the original contract (Please allow up to 30 days for us to process the transaction). Please see "How do I return goods?" for details on how to return an item to us or refer to your despatch note.

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under Distance Selling Regulations are available from your Local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standards Office.

Returns

We want you to be happy with every purchase but if you need to return an item it's as easy as A B C! – Please see details on despatch note received with your parcel. We are happy to refund in full for any unworn item within 7 days or for faulty goods received - just follow the steps below.

A: Complete the Returns slip on your despatch note and pop it into your parcel
B: Peel off the label and fix to your parcel – note this is not a pre paid label
C: Take the parcel to any post office

Cotton Traders will not be held liable for the loss of any returned items/parcels. We recommend that you obtain Proof of Posting and take out adequate parcel insurance to cover against consequential loss by the Post Office.

Goods bought through one of our Retail Shops can be returned with the receipt to any Cotton Traders store or outlet within 28 days of purchase.

Refunds

All orders returned back to Cotton Traders are automatically refunded back to the original payment method account. Exchanges  - If you would like a replacement item (alternative size or colour) we will re-order with no fee to you for Post and Packing - please call us on 0844 8447 777 and quote EXCH.

Confidential Mailing

Cotton Traders observe the code of practice covering the use of personal data as outlined in the Data Protection Act of 1998. We also comply fully with the The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

To unsubscribe from mailings either call Customer Services on 0844 844 7777 or visit your 'My Account' section and update your mailing preferences. Please note, the online page can only be used to unsubscribe from emails at present. You can still choose to receive catalogues or can opt out of both e-mail and postal mailing lists. Please state your requirements clearly on all correspondence. Due to our long lead times you may still receive a small number of further mailings while we remove your details from the list.
