"I was looking forward to receiving this item only to be disappointed when it arrived. This is no more than a heavy weight nylon pac-a-mac with some lining added. Whilst I am sure it will be waterproof (not tested yet) I am glad I bought it at half price otherwise I would have returned it. "

"Love the coat BUT you do need waterproof trousers - the rain runs straight down the coat. Also after I've walked my dog for an hour the heat builds up inside and can't escape so you come home wet inside and out!"

"I have had a long Windermere jacket for the past 3 years. They are brilliant in awful weather... I cannot fault the waterproofness or the warmth it provides and I love it... The only problem I have had with it is that over a short period of time (months), the poppers are breaking leaving an unsightly hole where they had been. Otherwise, fantastic jacket."
